Our Identity & Access Management (IAM) Modernization Program is a foundational element of the university鈥檚 digital ecosystem and a critical enabler of secure, reliable, and scalable enterprise services. By modernizing how we manage digital identities, we are moving to a secure, seamless framework that underpins all core systems, protects institutional data, and enables teaching, learning, and research.

Secure Password Management

Villanova is adopting Bitwarden as our new password vault, providing departments a secure, convenient way to manage passwords. Password vaults protect sensitive information and reduce the risk of weak or reused passwords. With Bitwarden, users can generate, store, and autofill strong passwords across devices, ensuring better security without the hassle of remembering multiple logins.
