About the Presidential Scholars Program
Program Oversight
The Presidential Scholars Program (PSP) is managed by the Director of the Center for Research and Fellowships with the advice of a 20-member Advisory Board, 12 of whom also serve as the Co-Chairs of the PSP selection committees. Strategic decisions regarding the Caritas Presidential Scholarship are made with the advice and consent of the Vice President for UNITAS: Community Enrichment.
The PSP selection committees take a holistic approach in reviewing applicants and look at multiple criteria including academic achievement, civic engagement, creativity, expertise in a particular field, leadership, and resiliency.
