The Faculty Rights & Responsibilities Committee (FRRC) makes recommendations on all matters pertaining to faculty. In particular, it oversees and approves any changes to the Faculty Handbook. This committee was formerly known as the Committee on Faculty.

Research Policy Committee
The Research Policy Committee (RPC) is a Faculty Congress body that recommends policy in research matters affecting faculty in more than one college. Formerly a university committee with faculty representation, RPC is now a Faculty Congress committee. RPC may also make recommendations to the Faculty Rights & Responsibilities Committee on matters in the Faculty Handbook relating to research and to the Academic Policy Committee on matters pertaining to instructional activities that impact research.
