REQUIRED
The Lean Six Sigma Black Belt course equips professionals with advanced skills to lead high-impact projects using the DMAIC methodology. Focusing on process improvement, it covers advanced statistical analysis, hypothesis testing and Design for Six Sigma (DFSS). You'll learn to eliminate waste, reduce defects and mentor Green Belts while driving data-driven solutions and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This course prepares you for Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification and to lead enterprise-wide change.
Prerequisites: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
This course begins with a discussion on the challenges faced during product and process design. Students will learn how to categorize the Six Sigma concepts as they apply to DFSS (Design For Six Sigma). Further, students will learn about methodologies used in DFSS, including DMADV (Define, Measure, Analyze, Design, and Verify) and IDDOV (Identify, Design, Develop, Optimize, and Verify).
Designed for seasoned practitioners, this course positions Agile as a disciplined system for driving continuous improvement at scale. Learned will refine their approach to incremental planning, rapid feedback and structured experimentation through high-impact retrospectives. Emphasis is placed on cultivating team ownership, leveraging visual management systems and interpreting flow metrics and dashboards to optimize performance.
